NOOVALIFE: Local and low carbon amino acids
Among the 11 amino acids registered in our portfolio, EUROLYSINE is pleased to produce the vast majority of the volumes distributed in its own factory, in France.
Local and low carbon
Indeed, Liquid Lysine, Lysine Hcl, L-Tryptophane, L-Valine, L-Arginine, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine are made in the same production unit, in Amiens, in the heart of Europe.
A complete LCA study, performed in partnership with EVEA, and fully reviewed by a panel of experts has confirmed the low carbon footprint of this local production. A ton of amino acid produced by EUROLYSINE is associated with 3 to 5 times less CO2 emissions compared to a ton of amino acids produced in China, Indonesia, USA or Brazil.
A significant leverage for sustainability for the whole production chain
The full data regarding the environmental impacts of our products are available and ready to be used by our customers and partners in their feed formulation. The differences between the origin of production described above have a significant impact on the CO2 emission of the feed manufacturing, and the associated meat production. It has been measured that a sourcing of amino acids coming from our factory could reduce the carbon footprint of the feed by 10%!
Looking at the evolution of the diet formula over the years and the trends towards the reduction of crude protein, this impact will become more and more important.
